Cake Decorating

My “gifted kid burnout activity” has been baking since I was in middle school. For the past 6 years, I have baked and decorated my younger brother’s birthday cake. He gives me a theme, and he isn’t allowed to see the cake until his birthday.

Other Baking

My siblings and I started a tradition where we make custom gingerbread housesat Christmastime by creating fun designs, cutting out custom parts, and spending hours decorating it.

I’ve had a running joke with a family friend where I have to bake a birthday baguette for her since I lost a game night a few years ago.
